High School AVID students took on the challenge of a relational capacity game today with the 'Great Chain Race!' Teams had 20 minutes to build the longest chain using just one piece of construction paper, scissors, and glue. It was all about teamwork and collaboration! Congratulations to Team Orange for taking 1st place, Team Yellow for 2nd, and Team Blue for 3rd!

With weather potentially upon us, I wanted to make sure everyone knows how we communicate snow days. We will post on Facebook, our live feed, on KFYR TV, KXMB TV, and send out an alert. If we decide to call off school because of the weather, the call will be made before 6:15am. It's also a reminder to make sure your child(ren) are dressed appropriately for the weather. Thanks!

Wilton hosted the McLean County Area Math Competition today. The 9-10 grade division saw Kennady take 5th place and the team of Kennady, Claire, Kaleb, Carter, Joanie, and Erin take 4th. In the 11-12 grade division, Will was 5th, Quinton was 2nd, and Zac was the individual champion! The team of Zac, Quinton, Aubrey, Jace, and Will were the team champions!
Congratulations mathletes!
The high school band had a great time at the Jamestown honor band last Friday. Our ride home was a little crowded though as we took home 3 new timpani purchased from the Jamestown college!
November Food Distribution
The Wilton Food Pantry will distribute food on Thursday, November 21st from 3-5 PM at the Wilton Senior Center (42 Dakota Ave)
Thanksgiving baskets (turkey and all the trimmings) will be given out.

Food is available to anyone in the Wilton and Wing areas who has a need. There are no eligibility requirements.
Sponsored by Sunne Lutheran Church, the Wilton Food Pantry is a cooperative effort of the Sunne Lutheran Church, the Wilton Senior Center, the Wilton Ministerial Association, and the Great Plains Food Bank.

A big THANK YOU to our amazing partner and sponsor to the Wilton Care Closet- Northland Health Centers-Turtle Lake. They donated care bags to the Elementary students that included items to keep us healthy during cold and flu season. They also donated more items for our Wilton Care Closet (Basic need closet). We have given out over 221 items from our Care Closet.
