Congratulations to Wilton Mathletes for an outstanding job done at the county Mathcounts competition today in Washburn. Wilton had 8 individuals place in the top 15, led by 2nd place Erin, 3rd place Sophia, 5th place Joanie, and 7th place Tessa. These four girls also comprised the overall champion team! Great job!



Elementary students submitted T-shirt designs for our March Madness themed reading month. One student per grade was selected as a finalist. All elementary students in attendance at tonight's boys basketball game will have the opportunity to showcase their jump roping skills at halftime of the varsity game. This will be a great endorsement for Kids Heart Challenge.

K-6th families: yesterday we had our American Heart Association assembly. Today or tomorrow you child will be bringing home a packet and flyer. If we can get 50% of our students to sign up and watch the CPR video the PE department will receive a $500 gift card to new PE equipment. The 8th Graders have started their Argumentative Unit in ELA class. Our essential question all is, "What is the ideal school start time?" After doing background research on the benefits and drawbacks of earlier and later start times, students created discussion questions. Today, student held group discussions to hear each other's thoughts.






February Food Distribution
The Wilton Food Pantry will distribute food on Thursday, February 15th from 3-5pm at the Wilton Senior Center (42 Dakota Ave).

Food is available to anyone in the Wilton and Wing areas who has a need. There are no eligibility requirements.
Sponsored by Sunne Lutheran Church, the Wilton Food Pantry is a cooperative effort of the Sunne Lutheran Church, the Wilton Senior Center, the Wilton Ministerial Association, and the Great Plains Food Bank.
Next distribution is Thursday, March 21st, from 3-5pm.

The second On the Move Cooking Class was held yesterday in partnership with Mclean County NDSU Ext. Office. The students learned about cutting safety, preparing vegetables and cooking an egg in a cup.






Another GREAT turnout at our Gateway to Science STEM Night and Bingo 4 Books event Monday night. Thank you to Wilton Lions Club, Wilton PTO, Wilton Public School Students and Staff members that volunteered and donated to make this event possible as well as the Franklin Institute and Gateway to Science.










Bingo for Books and STEM Night is off to a great start! PTO has multiple options for supper and we have lots of books to give away! Come join us for some fun!
