
8th Grade ELA students finished up their novel study of "The Outsiders" this week. They finished up this unit by creating one pagers which is a collage of illustrations and written analyses on one page that make up an aesthetically pleasing and detailed interpretation of a piece of literature. They are one talented group of students.

The environmental science class got a great tour of BNI Coal this week.

The 4th graders had a blast on their field trip to the zoo for conservation day! Even a bit of rain couldn't wash away their excitement. In fact, based on observation, it looked like it added to the fun.











Roughrider track and field traveled over to Hazen today for a quadrangular invite. Congratulations to Monica for qualifying for State in her 4th event, the 200, and Isaiah for qualifying in the discus! Great job athletes!

The Kindergarten classes had a great day going to the Bismarck Zoo and playing at the park!











7th grade ELA students have been participating in literature circles. They are in charge of their own book meetings each class period. It has been enjoyable listening to them talk about their books and how they are enjoying them.

Today, the Wilton FFA Hippology team traveled to NDSU to compete in the State FFA Hippology contest.
