Two public meetings were held previously to gather input from community members. At the meetings, two options were presented: the option to renovate Redwood and the option for new expansion. Both options included renovating the Ag, FACS, and Science areas as well as expansion of the cafeteria.
Overwhelming feedback from both meetings was in support of a new expansion rather than renovation to Redwood. After gathering this feedback, a Special School Board meeting was held on September 15th, 2022. During this meeting, the School Board voted and approved a call for a vote, moving forward with the option for new expansion. This step in the process means that the School Board has decided to bring a bond referendum forward for a public vote. The election will be held November 15th, 2022, from 7:00am to 7:00pm at the school.
In the time between now and the election, the school will do our best to continue to provide factual information to the public and answer any questions that you might have. Below are some upcoming Town Hall Meeting dates:
Wednesday, October 12th at 6:30pm in the Wilton gym
Wednesday, November 9th at 6:30pm in the Wilton gym
